Owners who register for our services agree to abide by our terms and agreement. You will be asked to sign a version of our service agreement as you come in for training.


Services are provided by K9OLOGY LLC with sessions running approximately 45 minutes in length each. All information and materials acquired during services including: handouts, training methodology, lesson plans, and supplemental material are proprietary property of K9OLOGY LLC. The client gives the full right to edit, publish and distribute any photographs or video footage taken during training activities.



Full payment of services in US Dollars is due in full by the first session. By submitting payment, owner agrees to commit to the full training program based on the number of lessons purchased at that time. 


FOR GROUPS - Once we receive your registration and payment, a space will be reserved for you and your dog. Due to our small class sizes no refunds can be given after registration is completed. Transfers from one class to another are considered on an individual basis and are not guaranteed. In order to ensure a productive learning environment for everyone, if you miss more than 2 consecutive lessons, you will forfeit the rest of the class. Private lessons are available at a discounted rate to ensure your dog stays on track and does not miss out on learning. 


FOR PRIVATE PROGRAMS - Refunds are solely at the discretion of K9ology LLC management and are not applicable if breaking this agreement. Refunds are limited to no more than 50% of the value of remaining lessons, where applicable. 



Multi-lesson programs are subject to expiration. Three lesson programs must be completed within 2 months, 5 lesson programs expire within 3 months, and 8 lesson programs expire in 5 months. Bookings for discounted multi-lesson programs cannot be guaranteed past the expiration. Cancellations for individual sessions must be made 24 hours prior to a scheduled  lesson. Failure to make alternate arrangements may result in loss of service. In the event of an emergency please make contact as soon as possible. Please arrive on time. In the event of a 15+ minute delay, the session may be postponed onto a later date or discredited where applicable. K9ology LLC follows Fauquier and Rappahannock County for closures in the event of severe weather. 



It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that their dog is current on vaccinations. The trainer and location of sessions hold no liability for illness due to potentially transferable diseases. If a dog seems ill prior to class, the owner must contact the trainer to assess whether the pet is eligible take part in class. Current Rabies and Distemper vaccines are required for dogs 16 weeks and older to take part in class. We strongly suggest vaccinating your pet for Bordetella and Canine Influenza (H3N2 and H3N8), however please consult with your veterinarian for further recommendation. K9ology LLC management, at their discretion, may discontinue services if they perceive a hazard or threat of any nature to any animal, individual or object. K9ology LLC may refuse services to an owner or animal which is not healthy, aggressive, or does not seem suitable for the services provided. 


The client agrees to indemnify and hold K9ology LLC, and all locations harmless from all liability for any loss, damage or injury to any person, animal, or property during or after training activities. The client understands that they are responsible for their dog(s) and property at all times. All behavioral advice and suggestions are made for the improvement of the dog, however no absolute result or guarantee can be given due to the malleable nature of behavior.
